What is CurlManitoba?
The current CurlManitoba was created on June 1st, 2000 when the former MCA (men) and MLCA (ladies) amalgamated to form one body to oversee the sport of curling in Manitoba. The Manitoba Curling Association (known as the MCA) then was renamed to CurlManitoba in Septembar, 2009. The affairs of CurlManitoba are managed by a Board of Directors consisting of 12 member board of directors.
CurlManitoba Objectives
The mandate of Curl Manitoba is to promote the game of curling in the province of Manitoba; to unite all curling clubs within Manitoba into one organization; to organize recreational and competitive curling competitions; to establish and govern the rules and regulations for competitions within the province; to encourage fraternal relationships with other curling associations; and to maintain affiliations with the National Curling Association.
