Manitoba Curling Foundation

Over the last few years, the MCF and the CurlManitoba have worked together for the betterment of the sport throughout Manitoba, in particular, the support of junior curlers. The Junior Development Program is designed to assist Manitoba curling clubs and Manitoba schools in hosting curling clinics for juniors up to the age of nineteen. The foundation assists in this regard by subsidizing a portion of the cost. The Foundation also awards up to four $1000.00 post-secondary education scholarships to any junior curler actively involved in community/school involvement. The 2002-2003 season introduced the Manitoba Curling Foundation Sport Award to two junior curlers from each Provincial Sport Region, with an annual award of $250.00.In recent years, substantial funds have also been directed from the Foundation towards assisting CurlManitoba in the funding of competition, technical and administrative programs.The Foundation is eager to assist anyone in Manitoba, who has identified a suitable need.
