Connie Laliberte
High Performance Director

One of the best curlers to hail from Manitoba, she skipped the first Manitoba women’s team to a world title. She won junior provincial titles in 1976 and 1977, and in total has skipped six provincial-title winning teams. With her sisters Corinne and Janet, and Chris (Pidzarko-More) Scalena, Laliberte took the 1984 provincial and Canadian title before proceeding to win the women’s world championship. She won two more Canadian titles, in 1992 and 1995, before retiring from competitive curling in 2000, the same year she was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame.  Since retiring from curling, Connie has been CurlManitoba's High Performance Director.
