Request for Proposal - Ice Maker for the 2017-2018 Season

The East St. Paul Curling Club is seeking proposals for an Ice Maker for the 2017-2018 season.  The ESPCC is a six sheet facility with approximately 600 members operating seven days a week from September to April. 
Interested parties should submit a proposal by June 12th, 2017.  Your proposal should include the following information:

Ice Technician Level certification complete
Previous Ice making experience
Experience preparing and maintaining curling ice for provincial, national and/or international championships
Operational plan for installation and maintenance of excellent curling ice
Standards and training for ice attendants
Weekly time commitment required for optimal ice conditions
Plan for special events
Cost to be charged to ESPCC for the work in the proposal

Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of both costs to be incurred by ESPCC and the proposed delivery of services.  A contract for services may be offered to the candidate who delivers the proposal that best meets the needs of the ESPCC both in Ice Services and costs.

THISTLE Curling Club - Edmonton, Alberta

The Thistle Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta, a well established, 8 sheet club in the heart of Edmonton with a strong membership, tremendous volunteer base and an excellent reputation for hosting Provincial and National level events, is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2017-2018 season.

GENERAL MANAGER - A strong communicator with relevant Curling Club experience is preferred.  A sports Management degree would be an asset but not a requirement along with knowledge of grant writing for Not For Profit organizations. 

HEAD ICE TECHNICIAN - Familiarity with sand based facilities is an asset.  Minimum Level 1 Ice Technician certificate required, Level II preferable and relevant experience will be taken into consideration. 

LOUNGE MANAGER - A fun, outgoing person, who is well organized and a good communicator is required.  Previous experience in the Hospitality industry is preferred.
