Curling Rink Manager - Fort St. John Curling Club

The Fort St. John Curling Club invites applications for the position of Curling Rink Manager.  The full time position will be open as early as March 1, 2008 (or later if required).  Work hours will be flexible with more hours worked during the curling season (some evenings and weekends) and fewer hours during the summer. 
Fort St. John is a growing community located in the Peace District of British Columbia (200km northwest from Grand Prairie, AB.).  The curling rink has 8 sheets of ice with almost 500 members, an attractive member's lounge, a large banquet and dance facility.  The curling season runs from October - March with a busy summer schedule of banquets and special events on the ice pad. 
In your role as club manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of this busy facility, which includes preparing and monitoring the annual budget, and supervising the lounge manager, ice manager, concession manager, and custodian.  The duties will also include promoting and marketing the facility, and managing a variety of events (both curling and non-curling).

Carman Curling Club, Carman, Manitoba

Carman Curling Club boasts 5 sheets of ice with an active membership and several leagues.  There are also numerous weekend bonspiels throughout the season. 
The club requires an Ice Technician for the upcoming season with a minimum of 1 year's experience.  Level I CCA Ice Technician Certification would be a definate asset but not a requirement.  Maintaining the Club Room on the lower level can be a negotiated element of the contract.  The contract is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.

Head Ice Technician - Lethbridge Curling Club

The Lethbridge Curling Club (LCC) invites applications for the position of Head Ice Technician. The Lethbridge Curling Club features 10 sheets of ice on a state of the art heated slab that was replaced in 2002. Our curling stones were inserted with Blue Hone granite in 2002 and we are very proud of having arguably the best playing conditions in the province.
