MCF Scholarships

Each year the Manitoba Curling Foundation awards four $1,000 scholarships. These scholarships are awarded annually to active junior curlers based on the following criteria: curling acheivements, development and contributions, academic acheivement, and school and community involvement. For a pdf copy of an outline of eligibility requirements and application form, click here.

MCF Regional Sport Awards

Each year the Manitoba Curling Foundation awards two $250 Sport Awards per region. These awards are granted annually based upon Applicant’s showing a contribution to curling in his/her region or provincially. This may be shown by volunteering his/her time and efforts at curling related functions and activities (ie. fund-raisers, league and bonspiel organizations, coaching, officiating).For a pdf copy of an outline of eligibility requirements and application form, click here.

 Edna Moffat Spirit of Youth Curling Scholorship

Edna Moffat was a Past President and Honourary Life Member of the Manitoba Ladies Curling Association. She passed away on April 17, 1995. Through a trust fund set up by the family of Edna Moffat, CurlManitoba is pleased to make a $1,000 scholarship available to a junior woman curler in Manitoba.

Any active junior woman curler entering or currently enrolled in post-secondary education may apply if affiliated as a junior during the year of application.

An application form is sent out to all affiliated clubs in September as well as being available at the Christmas Bonspiel and junior provincial championships. Deadline for receipt of applications is May 1. Additional applications are available from the CurlManitoba office. Click Here for a registration form.
