Representation:
The sixteen (16) teams in the Provincial Championship shall be:
Number 1-8 Sport Region Berth: Norman-1 berth, Parkland-1 berth, Westman-1 berth, Central-1 berth, Eastman-1 berth, Interlake-1 berth, Winnipeg- 2 berths
Number 9-11 awarded to the sport regions based upon participation ratio-3 berths
Number 12-13 Scotties Berth Bonspiel-2 berths
Number 14 CTRS Points Leader from Manitoba-1 berth
Number 15 The Manitoba Curling Tour highest ranked team at the conclusion of the MCT Championship-1 berth
Number 16 STOH Defending Champion from previous year-1 berth
Format:
The Provincial Championship for Women's shall be decided by a round robin competition for 16 teams as outlined in the Curl Manitoba Rule Book. The championship round will be a page playoff with the first place teams in each group playing each other and the second place teams playing each other in their first games. The tie-breaking system, skill based team ranking process, last rock and rock color assignment process is outlined in the Curl Manitoba Rule Book.
