 Posted 2009-11-09Lois Fowler (Brandon C.C.) defeated Joyce McDougall (Brandon C.C.) 7-5 in the final of the Senior Women's Berth Bonspiel in Minnedosa to earn a berth into Curl Manitoba's Senior Women's Provincial Championship.
Team Lois Fowler consisits of Skip Lois Fowler, Third Gwen Wooley, Second Lori Manning, and Lead Lynn Sandercock. Fowler earned her way to the final by defeating Chris Scalena (Fort Gary) 10-6 while McDougall made the final by getting by Sandra Cowling (Hamiota) 8-6.
The 2010 Senior Women's Provincial Championship and Strathcona Senior Men's Provincial Championship will take place February 25 to March 1 at the Brandon C.C. |
