 Posted 2009-11-20Clare DeBlonde (Fort Rouge C.C.) defeated Peter Paley(East St.Paul C.C.) 6-5 in the final of the Chicken Chef Masters Men's berth bonspiel to earn a berth into Curl Manitoba's Manitoba's Credit Unions Master Men's Provincial Championship.
Team Clare DeBlonde consisits of Skip Clare DeBlonde, Third Peter Kennedy, Second Bob Boughy, and Lead Gary Smith. DeBlonde earned his way to the final by defeating Dave Suchy (Gimli) 7-0 while Paley made the final by getting by Peter Ray(Pembina) 6-1.
The 2010 Manitoba's Credit Unions Master Men's Provincial Championship will take place March 11-15 at the Fort Rouge C.C.
Pat Gould (Assiniboine Memorial C.C.) defeated Elaine Jones (St.Vital C.C.) 9-8 in the final of the Chicken Chef Masters Women's berth bonspiel. Both teams have earned a berth into Curl Manitoba's Manitoba's Credit Unions Master Men's Provincial Championship.
Team Pat Gould consisits of Skip Pat Gould, Third Bonnie Gordon, Second Terry Hebert, and Lead Deanna Moss.
Team Elaine Jones consisits of Skip Elaine Jones, Third Anne Wright, Second Pat Malanchuk, and Lead Ruth Wiebe
Gould earned her way to the final by defeating Dianne Maciver(St.Vital)6-5 while Jones made the final by getting by Marg Streich(Selkirk) 8-5.
The 2010 Manitoba's Credit Unions Master Women's Provincial Championship will take place March 4-8 at the St.Vital C.C.
