 Posted 2010-02-06Team Scott Barenz (Charleswood) and Team Kelly Robertson (Neepawa) have both qualified for the 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Mixed Provincial Championship by earning berths at the Meyers Norris Penny Mixed Berth Bonspiel held at the Neepawa Curling Club.
Barenz earned his way into provincials by defeating Jared Kolomaya (Northern Interlake CC) 8-3. While Robertson earned a berth by defeating Richard Muntain (Lac Du Bonnet) 11-5.
Team Barenz consists of Skip Scott Barenz, Third Heather Pierson, Second Brian Baker and Lead Alicia Pierson.
Team Robertson consists of Skip Kelly Robertson, Third Darla Hayward, Second Darcy Hayward and Lead Yvonne Robertson.
The 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Mixed Provincial Championship will be held March 25-29 in Stonewall. |
