Technical Courses

Curl Manitoba is here to work with all curling athletes and coaches throughout Manitoba.

"EVERY ATHLETE DESERVES A CERTIFIED COACH"

Certification for a coach comprises of three components.

1. Technical Course Completion
2. Practical Requirement Completion
3. Theory Completion

Component One: Technical Development

Club Coach (Level One)	12-hour course Provides the skills necessary to coach or instruct the entry athlete player
Competition Coach (Level Two)	16-hour course Provides the information necessary to detect and correct delivery & sweeping technique
Level Three	20-hour course This course provides technical, tactical & coaching Techniques for competitive athletes and teams  Pre-requisite of Level Two Technical required.

Component Two: Practical

The practical component of certification is obtained by completed and submitting the workbooks provided at each technical level course. The workbooks will be evaluated and returned.

Component Three: Theory

This component is not sport specific and is available through Coaching Manitoba. For the schedule of course availability go to www.coachingmanitoba.ca

Fees: $150.00	Hours: 16	Times: Friday, April 16th 6 pm - 10 pm Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th 9 am - 5 pm
